The opening of the group's first store dates back to 1972, at number 1 Praça Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon. It was a space specializing in visual health and introduced products such as contact lenses and ocular prostheses to Portugal.

In 2004, a merger occurred between companies within the same group, which led to the disappearance of the original name Centro Óptico Delgado Espinosa. This resulted in synergies that involved all the companies in the group, where for several years the goal was to develop a differentiating activity.

It was in January 2022 that we moved into a new phase, creating a new "face," a new commercial brand, OPTIC One , evolving into a concept even more focused on investment in innovation, supported by advanced training for its teams, and cutting-edge technology worldwide, seeking to be the benchmark for specialized optical services in Portugal.
